When I asked for updates from the ventriloquist community, Michael Westmoreland was one of the first to reach out!
He shared:
Scotty and I auditioned for AGT in Atlanta, GA January 2016. Scotty sang Amazing Grace with a little comedy twist and they loved it! We were called out for additional taping and featured on an episode at the beginning of the show in March. It was a lot of fun!
I later had a larger stage size “Scotty” made and wanted to keep my Maher figure, so I added a wig and created “Suzie Q” into my act. Still one of my favorite figures!
Thanks for the info Michael! I love to see the creativity of turning your original Scotty into Suzie Q. Glad that you were able to keep Clinton’s work in your act!
