On Memorial Day, citizens of the United States celebrate Memorial Day – a day when we remember and honor our veterans. Then we grill out, eat and drink.
Putting aside any feelings of animosity and reasons behind any conflict, the men and women of our armed services, as with the members of armed services around the globe, put their lives on the line for their country. When our politicians don’t agree with one another and feel the need to flex their muscle, these men and women, along with their families sacrifice.
Today, I encourage us all to share in respecting the veterans and service people of every country. While I pray they never need to take action, I respect anyone who puts their life on the line by serving.
