Welcome to 2017. New Year’s Eve is a time for looking back and celebrating the possibilities of the future. I hope you had a safe and joyful celebration surrounded by people you love.

Now we’ve reached the new year. It is just another day. But people place importance on this time. It is the start of a new year. A year where you can strive to achieve more and live a better life.

Did you make resolutions for 2017? Most people don’t reach those goals. As time progresses they forget, or other things become more important. It can be easier to put something off until tomorrow.

I’m going to urge you to do two things in 2017. First, pick the one goal you most want to achieve. Write it down. Keep it in front of you. And each day, take at least one action that will move you toward that goal.

Second, laugh and play. It increases the quality of life. For a few minutes each day, read some jokes, play with your vent characters, have fun. That simple action will help you live longer AND become a better ventriloquist.

Happy New Year!
