In today’s “reality “ television era we see people being taken apart on a daily basis on our sets. It’s chic to criticize and belittle and it’s almost become a national pastime in many places. Hopefully one of those places is NOT the vent community!
People post videos of their work all the time , and sometimes they are not ready to have them online. But it is not our job to be a critic and give them a hard time. We should encourage them to continue their vent work and offer constructive criticism where we can (if they are open to it). Some folks take criticism well…others not so much.
The main point is not to destroy our own. Encourage, lift up, and help other novice vents where possible and like my mother said, if you can’t say something nice, say nothing at all! Nuf sed!
